I Saw Her Name
I saw her name,
It was my name.
Suddenly I was filled with tears,
Endlessly flowing from deep, deep inside me,
Releasing the agony I could not let go.
Immense sorrow filled my heart and soul.
As I looked at her stone,
My mind flashed with memories,
Memories of the stories
I had been told.
I can't believe
I am looking at my grandmother.
I am meeting her for the very first time.
I never knew God wanted this for me.
I will never forget this moment,
I will never let go.
Let me stay here forever.
I touched her name
And imagined her face.
I imagined her arms around me
Embracing the love that she gave.
For so long, she had been at this place,
Yet, here I stand
Feeling like she left only yesterday.
I saw her name,
It was her name.
At last, I have come to my grandmother's place.
