The Passion
The passion in her heart has always been there,
she just didn’t have the means.
She wanted so much to do what her heart desired.
She had always heard,
“If there’s a will, there’s a way.”
But no matter what she thought of,
everything seemed impossible.
She realized the stress she was putting on herself
wanting so badly to have what she desired.
She had become obsessed, and sometimes
she felt her obsession was slowly choking
her beautiful passion into madness.
The passion in her heart has always been there,
it was what kept her going.
She believed what she desired was meant to be.
She longed for a way to make everything happen.
There had to be a way.
She had confidence something would come,
some opportunity that would open the door,
that door that could not be missed.
The passion in her heart has always been there,
and she refused to let it go.
For she would not let her heart be broken.
